Tuvo m\u00e1s suerte en Italia, donde Aermacchi fabric\u00f3 una versi\u00f3n que se vendi\u00f3 en varios pa\u00edses africanos, como Rhodesia (donde se llam\u00f3\u00a0Trojan).\u00a0Por fin se fabric\u00f3 en Sud\u00e1frica, que lo emple\u00f3 en la <em>bush war<\/em> que sosten\u00eda contra las guerrilla del SWAPO en el NO de Namibia.<\/p>\n<p>El Kudu formaba el escal\u00f3n inferior de la FA sudafricana en Namibia y Angola. En lo m\u00e1s alto estaban los Mirage F.1 y III, que actuaban solamente si hab\u00eda actividad de la aviaci\u00f3n angolana. Los Buccaneer se usaban rara vez para ataques al suelo (v\u00e9ase Cassinga). Los DC-3 llevaban los paracaidistas a los ataques y los Bosbok hac\u00edan misiones de rastreo y hostigamiento de las guerrillas. El Kudu funcionaba como un cami\u00f3n de reparto, llevando personal y suministros a cualquier lugar donde se necesitara.
