Este avi\u00f3n se us\u00f3 mucho para reconocimiento y bombardeo \u201cligero\u201d durante las guerras coloniales de Portugal (1961-1975).<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>El Do 27 fue otro resultado de la tradicional colaboraci\u00f3n entre la industria aeron\u00e1utica espa\u00f1ola y la alemana, estrechada en los a\u00f1os de la guerra civil. Claudius Dornier ten\u00eda ya la edad de la jubilaci\u00f3n tradicional de antes de la Crisis (65 a\u00f1os) cuando lleg\u00f3 a Espa\u00f1a en 1949 con la esperanza de poder seguir trabajando en su oficio de dise\u00f1ador de aviones. Uno de sus trabajos hab\u00eda alcanzado gran fama en Espa\u00f1a m\u00e1s de dos d\u00e9cadas atr\u00e1s (el Dornier Wal Plus Ultra).<\/p>\n<p>El Do 27 fue dise\u00f1ado como avi\u00f3n auxiliar del ej\u00e9rcito para todo uso capaz de despegar y aterrizar sobre pistas cortas y sin preparar, lo que los hac\u00eda muy \u00fatil como avi\u00f3n colonial. Dornier trabaj\u00f3 muy cercano a CASA y el Do 27 fue su mejor trabajo en Espa\u00f1a. El avi\u00f3n fue pronto fabricado en Alemania y se vendi\u00f3 en gran n\u00famero a las fuerzas armadas de este pa\u00eds.
