Poco despu\u00e9s ocupar\u00edan casi toda la provincia de Guip\u00fazcoa, de manera que el \u00fanico tr\u00e1fico posible con el resto del mundo del Pa\u00eds Vasco (y toda la zona Norte de Espa\u00f1a) era por barco o por v\u00eda a\u00e9rea. Se cre\u00f3 una compa\u00f1\u00eda a\u00e9rea para enlazar Bayona con Bilbao, que usaba los serviciales bimotores Envoy.<\/p>\n<p>Esta l\u00ednea a\u00e9rea vasca segu\u00eda m\u00e1s o menos la ruta de la antigua <a href=\"http:\/\/aeropinakes.com\/wordpress\/1920\/08\/11\/la-primera-aerolinea-de-euskalerria\/\">Compa\u00f1\u00eda Franco-Bilba\u00edna de Transportes A\u00e9reos<\/a>, pero esta vez no se trataba de viajes de placer, sino de la supervivencia de la Rep\u00fablica de Euzkadi m\u00e1s o menos dentro de la Rep\u00fablica espa\u00f1ola. La matr\u00edcula francesa de los aviones de Air Pyr\u00e9n\u00e9es no les salv\u00f3 de los ataques de la aviaci\u00f3n nacionalista, que derrib\u00f3 dos de sus aparatos.
