Mirando siempre de reojo a Lufthansa, que se expand\u00eda por los cinco continentes, Interflug puso en marcha\u00a0una aceptable aerol\u00ednea del bloque comunista, con decenas de destinos desde La Habana\u00a0a Hanoi. Sus aviones principales eran el Il-62 para larga distancia y el Tu-134 para medio recorrido.
