No fue una coincidencia que ese mismo mes el Gobierno solicitara oficialmente la asociaci\u00f3n con la Comunidad Econ\u00f3mica Europea, que se formalizar\u00eda 24 a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>El Caravelle pon\u00eda todas las capitales de Europa Occidental a poco m\u00e1s de dos horas de Madrid (un Caravelle de Iberia bati\u00f3 un r\u00e9cord de voleocidad al hacer la ruta Barcelona-Frankfurt en 1h 29\u2019, \u201ccasi lo que se tarda en un viaje de autob\u00fas a cualquier barrio extremo de una gran ciudad [1]\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>El tr\u00e1fico a\u00e9reo con Francia creci\u00f3 en un 20% el a\u00f1o 1962. Ese a\u00f1o, a apenas dos horas de vuelo desde Madrid se reun\u00eda en la capital b\u00e1vara una nutrida representaci\u00f3n de la oposici\u00f3n al franquismo, en lo que la prensa del R\u00e9gimen apod\u00f3 como el Contubernio de M\u00fanich.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>[1] Cr\u00f3nica de un a\u00f1o de Espa\u00f1a (18 julio 1962-18 julio 1963).
