La pol\u00edtica de control a\u00e9reo se aplic\u00f3 en Ad\u00e9n como en los dem\u00e1s territorios del imperio. En 1925 hubo serios ataques a\u00e9reos brit\u00e1nicos a intereses yemen\u00edes, lo que hizo que Yahya se volviera a los italianos, por entonce en Eritrea y en apariencia la potencia colonial ascendiente en la regi\u00f3n.
