Produjo casi 100.000 muertos, la mayor\u00eda de ellos en el bando rebelde. Las fuerzas armadas francesas consiguieron trasladar con grandes dificultades algunos Ju-52 fabricados con licencia en Francia a la isla, donde realizaron cientos de misiones de transporte, ametrallamiento y bombardeo.<\/p>\n<p>Dado que los insurgentes carec\u00edan de aviaci\u00f3n, incluso un avi\u00f3n tan lento como el Ju-52 pod\u00eda convertirse en un exitoso bombardero colonial.
