La mayor\u00eda de sus efectivos quedaron en la zona bajo control del Gobierno, y los fot\u00f3grafos de la prensa republicana tuvieron oportunidad de inmortalizarlos una y otra vez sobre los cambiantes frentes de las primeras semanas de la guerra.
