El He.70 ten\u00eda una aerodin\u00e1mica tan buena que pod\u00eda mover sus tres toneladas y media a 222 millas por hora, unos 350 kmh, con un motor BMW de solo 650 hp. Eso era suficiente para enlazar Berl\u00edn y Hamburgo en 50 minutos, un gran r\u00e9cord para la \u00e9poca.
