En general, el R\u00e9gimen atend\u00eda con generosidad sus peticiones. Una de estas solicitudes fue la creaci\u00f3n de Aviaco (Aviaci\u00f3n y Comercio, SA).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"JUSTIFY\">La autorizaci\u00f3n de creaci\u00f3n de Aviaco se basaba en teor\u00eda en su papel de transporte de carga, una tarea que no cubr\u00eda la aerol\u00ednea nacional, Iberia. Aunque Aviaco pronto se volc\u00f3 en el transporte de pasajeros (en septiembre de 1948 inaugur\u00f3 una conexi\u00f3n Bilbao &#8211; Madrid; el aeropuerto Bilba\u00edno de Sondika, proyectado en 1948, se abri\u00f3 al tr\u00e1fico con esa ruta), tambi\u00e9n llev\u00f3 a cabo cierto n\u00famero de env\u00edos por v\u00eda a\u00e9rea de frutas y verduras de calidad a mercados de la Europa Occidental.
