En 1973 recibi\u00f3 algunos Avro 748 de Aerol\u00edneas Argentinas. Los aviones eran muy necesarios para transportar material y personal en las inmensidades de la Patagonia, con Comodoro Rivadavia, la capital del petr\u00f3leo argentino, como base principal.
