Pod\u00eda llevar m\u00e1s carga y a m\u00e1s velocidad que sus colegas Westland Wapiti y Fairey IIIF, y duplicaba pr\u00e1cticamente las prestaciones del DH.4 y Dh.9.Pod\u00eda merodear sobre los tribe\u00f1os durante horas gracias a su gran autonom\u00eda. La tripulaci\u00f3n contaba con tres puestos, reduciendo as\u00ed la monoton\u00eda y la carga de trabajo de las horas de vigilancia a\u00e9rea de selvas y desiertos.
