Landiech, que durante alg\u00fan tiempo pilot\u00f3 el \u00fanico avi\u00f3n registrado en el Congo, entonces parte de la AEF (\u00c1frica Ecuatorial Francesa), actualmente rep\u00fablica del Congo. A mediados de 1924 la\u00a0<em>Compagnie Mini\u00e8re du Congo Fran\u00e7ais<\/em>, dedicada a la explotaci\u00f3n de minas de cobre en Mindouli, le permiti\u00f3 llevar un Caudron C.60 a la colonia. Mindouli, a unos 100 km al oeste de Brazzaville y muy pr\u00f3ximo a la frontera del entonces Congo Belga, fue entonces la base de operaciones de Landiech, que recorri\u00f3 toda la zona entre Brazzaville y Pointe Noire, en la costa, viendo lo que nunca se hab\u00eda visto antes desde el aire.
