Esa fue la lac\u00f3nica nota que anunci\u00f3 al mundo la creaci\u00f3n de la aerol\u00ednea de bandera de Ciskei, el \u00abhogar nacional\u00bb creado en 1981 por el gobierno sudafricano del apartheid junto con otros, llamados despectivamente bantustanes. El a\u00f1o siguiente a la nota de <em>Flight<\/em> la compa\u00f1\u00eda adquiri\u00f3 un magn\u00edfico Coronado (Convair 990), el \u00faltimo en servicio en el mundo. Se imprimieron folletos y tarjetas con las instrucciones en caso de emergencia, y se hizo alg\u00fan vuelo entre Bisho, la capital de Ciskei, y Johannesburgo. En 1990 el sue\u00f1o de una aerol\u00ednea nacional para un pa\u00eds no reconocido por ning\u00fan otro estado, con el tama\u00f1o de Almer\u00eda y la poblaci\u00f3n de Asturias (8.500 km2 y un mill\u00f3n de habitantes) se termin\u00f3.
